LONDON – January, 2018

TwentyFour Asset Management, the London- and New York-based specialist fixed income investor, has announced the appointment of two new partners from within its portfolio management team.

Felipe Villarroel, a portfolio manager on the Multi-Sector Bond team, and Douglas Charleston, a portfolio manager for the firm’s Asset-Backed Securities funds, will become partners early in the first quarter of 2019.

Villarroel, 34, and Charleston, 35, will be the 12th and 13th members of the partnership founded in 2008. They joined the firm in 2011 and 2013, respectively.

The appointments are designed to expand the leadership group to include a new generation at TwentyFour, which celebrated its 10-year anniversary in September and is planning further expansion into the US in 2019.

“I have worked closely with Felipe and Doug for many years,” said Mark Holman, CEO at TwentyFour Asset Management.
“They are both outstanding individuals who bring a diverse set of qualities to their roles, and very strong track records of success in their areas of expertise. These appointments represent an exciting step for the company and demonstrate our ambition to continue growing the business.”

TwentyFour Asset Management, a boutique of the Swiss-based Vontobel Group, manages over £14 billion for clients globally across its Strategic Income, Outcome Driven and Asset-Backed Securities strategies.
