Johnathan Owen, Portfolio Management, discusses our longstanding carbon emissions engagement policy and its focus on collaborating with companies we believe we can influence. Our goal has been to shape their environmental journey over the medium to long term, leading to a reduction in carbon emissions.

Previously, this policy largely focused on Scope 1 and 2 emissions—operational emissions directly associated with companies. Going forward, we will expand our focus to include Scope 3 emissions, particularly within the banking sector. This shift will address the emissions linked to a bank's financing activities.
